Leonard Curtis Business Solutions Group has strengthened its South West & Wales operations with a new appointment to its Cardiff office.

Chris Hilbert has joined the leading professional services firm in Cardiff as a Senior Manager to support the team with business development, expanding its portfolio, and providing turnaround and restructuring advice to clients in a range of sectors.

The appointment comes at no better time as COVID business support schemes come to an end and an increasing number of business owners are looking for expert help. Chris joins Leonard Curtis Cardiff Director Siann Huntley to bolster the firm’s reach in the South West & Wales, as well as demonstrate the company’s commitment to the region and the local SME and advisor population, by broadening its investment in physical on-the-ground presence.

Chris has a background of 25 years in restructuring, advising a wide range of companies from small to medium enterprises and large corporations, with both formal and informal restructuring experience. Chris will be supporting senior colleagues in the region to provide strategic advice for clients as part of a market-leading firm with a national reach.

Chris comments: “I’m thrilled to be joining the Leonard Curtis team, which has become so well-known in the industry and has gone from strength to strength in recent years. The positive, friendly team culture and focus on wellbeing are exactly what I’m looking for, and I’m excited to be bringing my professional experience to bear on current and future client challenges.”

Andy Beckingham, Director of Leonard Curtis South West & Wales, says: “Chris is a brilliant addition to our team. We’ve worked hard to build an impressive presence in the Cardiff and wider South West & Wales region, and it’s a testament to our progress that we have attracted someone of Chris’ calibre and expertise.”

Siann added: “Chris’ work will support the next phase of growth for us as we look to build our professional network, expand our services, and develop our portfolio of clients, at a challenging time for businesses in the region.”
